Compatibility
The iOS apps are iPhone apps and require iOS 26.0 or later.
Glasshole supports Apple Intelligence on compatible iPhone models. Other supported iPhones can use configured cloud, local-network, PocketPal, or custom providers. Food Scanner’s default Local iPhone Vision mode works on supported iPhones without an API key.
Food Scanner
Food Scanner can be used without companion hardware by choosing a food photo from iPhone or taking a new iPhone camera photo. The optional Google Glass XE companion APK can capture a food image and send it to the iOS app over local Wi-Fi or iPhone Personal Hotspot.
On Glass, open the scan food command andtap the touchpad to launch and capture. Do not rely on saying “Ok Glass.”

Glasshole
Glasshole can be used without companion hardware by tapping the microphone button in the iOS app. The optional Google Glass XE companion APK can start and stop real-time conversation capture and display AI-powered fact-check overlays after analysis.
On Glass, open the fact check command andtap the touchpad to launch, then tap again to start/stop listening. Do not rely on saying “Ok Glass.”
Use Glasshole only with the consent of everyone being recorded and in compliance with local laws and regulations where you use it.
Common Setup (website → GitHub)
- Install the iOS app from the App Store.
- From the app page on this site (or the links below), download the matching companion APK:Food Scanner orGlasshole AI.
- Follow theGoogle Glass XE installation guide on GitHubfor ADB install, USB debugging, and hotspot setup.
- Connect Google Glass XE to your iPhone Personal Hotspot before opening the iPhone app.
- Open the iOS app and confirm the connection indicator.
- On Glass, tap the fact check orscan food command — do not depend on “Ok Glass” voice wake.
